Microgaming Aims to Thrill At ICE London

Deanna Hammes - 28-01-2019

Microgaming It’s almost time for ICE Totally Gaming London 2019 and award-winning games developer Microgaming will be present at the world-class expo in full force. The official release on the company’s website confirms that there will be something for everyone; from revitalised favourites that have stood the test of time, to vibrant brand new content.

The company will also offer a glimpse into what the industry can expect from its leading conglomerate of in-house as well as independent studio developers, during 2019. Diversity and premium content is the name of the game, and Microgaming has promised that there will be no shortage of either. All six of Microgaming’s independent studio partners will be attending the expo and attendees will have the opportunity to interact with the developers as well as with new as well as existing games content.

Meet The Independent Teams

Conference-goers will be treated to a journey through time and space. The adventure will kick off with a trip down memory lane with the new 70’s-inspired Village People online pokie, developed exclusively for Microgaming by Fortune Factory Studios.

Agent Jane Blonde Returns will be up next, with the classic Super-Spy making her return thanks to the creative team at Stormcraft Studios. Just For The Win will also be there to present their brand new pokies release, the very cyber-punky Shogun of Time.

One of the highlights of the expo is the anticipated release of the new Lara Croft® pokie, which celebrates 15 years of partnering with Square Enix, owners of the Lara Croft® and Tombraider® brands. For interest sake, this is the longest-running brand partnership in the industry today.

Slingshot Studios will be there to present Banana Odyssey, and Switch Studios will be showing attendees what all the hype is about with the Microgaming’s new Blackjack title.

Preserving The Environment

True to Microgaming’s polished nature, this year’s Microgaming Bar will adopt a no-plastic policy. Recycling facilities will be present and attendees will have no excuse not to go full-on green. The PlayItForward initiative will also be in attendance, and Microgaming has confirmed its commitment to Clarion and Ecobooth’s reduced trade show waste initiative. To this end, all promotional material will be recycled at the end of the conference.
